2. How We Use Information

CMEtriage uses the information we collect solely to facilitate and document the medicolegal communication and triage process, including:

  • Receiving and documenting telephonic death reports
  • Verifying and recording demographic and medical details
  • Coordinating with authorized pathologists, investigators, and donor services
  • Maintaining secure communication and case tracking systems
  • Fulfilling legal, regulatory, and quality assurance requirements

We do not sell, lease, or share information with any third party for marketing or commercial purposes.


3. Data Protection and Security

We maintain strict administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect all data, including PHI. This includes:

Records are retained only for as long as required by law, contract, or operational necessity. Once retention periods expire, records are securely deleted or destroyed using approved data disposal methods.
